Audit Trail

What is the Audit Trail?

The Audit Trail is a list of actions that have taken place on an account, order, or appointment. There you can view what users on your ServiceMonster system made the changes, when they were made, and what those changes were. 

Audit Trail for Accounts

Open the account page for the account in question. Click on the “Audit” tab.

Here you can see a list of the changes made to the account, what user made the changes, and when the changes were made. 

Audit Trail for Sites

To see the audit trail for a site, open the account page. Click on the "Sites" tab.

Click on the name of the site you want to view.

Click on the "Audit" tab.

Here you will be able to view any changes to the site's details.

Audit Trail for Orders

To see the audit trail for an order, open the order page. Click on the “Audit” tab.

Here you can view a list of changes made to the order, who made the changes, and when the changes were made.


Audit Trail For Appointments

To view the audit trail for an appointment, open the schedule. Double click on the appointment card for the appointment you want to view the trail for. 

This will open up the appointment details in a new window. 

Click on the “Audit” tab. Here you can view changes to the appointment details.

 

System Audit Trail

You can also see an overall audit for the whole system. To view that, click on “Settings” in the left hand side menu, then select “Audit”.

Here you can see the list of actions, when they took place, and who did it. If you click on the “Record Type” it will open the relevant page for that activity, order, appointment, or other record type.
