NEW

  • ServiceMonster Pay™ (SM Pay) is now available as a payment provider for US and Canadian users. Look for it in the MarketPlace (!)
  • Updated payment screens in both mobile and desktop for SM Pay users
  • Added a “Payment Methods” tab for SM Pay users to manage stored credit cards or bank accounts on file, as well as add new payment methods without making a charge
  • Stored payment methods will be selectable on both desktop and mobile for SM Pay users
  • Added “auto-charge” functionality to service contracts for SM Pay users
  • Added ability to set default payment methods for each account for SM Pay users
  • Default payment methods will show on the account overview page for SM Pay users
  • Updated “contracts” to instead be named “service contracts” throughout ServiceMonster
  • Marketing Wizard “Standard” campaigns have 3 new filters: exclude accounts with invalid email accounts, exclude accounts with invalid mailing addresses, and limit contact by this campaign to once in a 30 day window
  • Added the “order group” column to the History and Appointment History tabs on an Account
  • Updated UI for Processed Payment records (both standard and split payments) so that the transaction details are properly locked down for Stripe, Authorize.net, and SM Pay users
  • Added the ability to “void” a processed payment to set that transaction to $0 (only used when refunding processed/charged payments). Processed payments can no longer accidentally be deleted, only voided out.
  • Added audit entry when payments are voided within ServiceMonster
  • Updated UI for split payments so that it’s easier for user to see how much of the total payment remains when splitting between orders
  • Updated UI for standard payment entries (e.g. cash payment, non-processed payments)
  • Renamed payment memo -> payment note to better follow standard practices set elsewhere in ServiceMonster

FIXED

  • Fixed an issue where users could edit prices of locked products/services on both the line items, order side car, completion wizard, and bulk add items screen
  • Cleaned up appearance of pointer caret icon that appears next to hover popup when mousing over a schedule item in Schedule v2.0

  • Updated trial experience for mobile users coming from the ServiceMonster.net website
  • Updated the “Unscheduled Approved Orders” view in the Orders List to ignore “cancelled” or “estimate” appointments. This means that approved orders that ONLY have an on-site estimate appt or a cancelled appt will still show on this list as neither of those appointments complete the job.

FIXED

  • Fixed an issue where error messages were not displaying properly when an error occurred for a user when submitting an online payment with ServiceMonster Pay™ (via the Invoice Payment Link)
  • Fixed an issue where ServiceMonster Pay™ users were not able to use the online payment link due to an issue with the address verification check

  • Added new Marketing Expense buttons to the Marketing Home Page, Lead Source/Campaign grids, and the details tab of a lead source/campaign to improve visibility for the feature and renamed the old  “+ Transaction” button to the new label “+Marketing Expense” on the Transaction/History tab of a campaign/lead source
  • Updated Marketing Expense dialog UI to also allow capturing audience size, conversion target goals, and notes
  • Renamed “Transaction” tab to “History” on the Lead Source/Campaign pages
  • Online Payment link (SM Invoice Page) now uses a dropdown selector for the state/province field
  • Added a column to the notifications grid which indicates what kind of notification was sent (email or text)
  • Updated the UI for the Invoice Page/Payment Link config screen to give users better control of who receives email notifications
  • Various UI improvements for Credit Memos to further differentiate a payment vs a credit memo and to allow a user to edit more easily which orders a credit should be applied to
  • Name field is now a required field when creating new opportunities as leaving it blank cause various UI issues

FIXED

  • Fixed webform issue so that “noon” properly shows as 12:00 pm
  • Payment link/Online Invoice Page state/province input field is no longer case sensitive
  • Payment link/Online Invoice Page due date will show the invoice completed date when payment terms are “due upon receipt” for an Invoice. Note: If sending Estimates and Work Orders, the due date will be “blank” since the completion date is tied to when invoicing occurred.
  • Improvements to Order Line Item Editor to allow user to add additional lines when adding blank rows for extra spacing or when rows were deleted by user
  • Fixed a visual glitch when user would navigate away from the schedule with the map in full-screen mode and then back to the schedule
  • Character counter for the memo field in the Completion Wizard is now properly visible without scrolling
  • Fixed a visual bug where drip campaigns were showing the total client base and not the filtered results when viewing the drip campaign builder/tree
  • Fixed an issue where Safari and Firefox browsers showed the wrong expiration date for trial users
  • Unscheduled Approved Orders grid now shows the expected results
  • Fixed an issue where confirmation emails for paid invoices via the invoice page/payment link weren’t being sent to the user
  • Payment methods marked as default for SM Pay users now properly show as the default method when applying a future payment
  • Fixed an error when searching directly in the account list grid
  • Payment date is once again an editable field for Processed Payments
  • Character count for the description on the line-item sidecar no longer overlaps the text box
  • Added a UI indicator for when microdeposit has been received during SM Pay onboarding

FIXED

  • Fixed a visual issue where editing a recurring appointment start time would not maintain the correct time selection on the UI after saving
  • Fixed a “too many characters” error tied to the SMS notification phone number
  • Fixed an error tied to trying to save a new service item with an alpha character in the quantity field. This field is now correctly numeric only and won’t allow alpha characters to be input.
