What Is The Settings Page?

The settings page is your hub for adjusting your settings on ServiceMonster.

Basics

Company Info:

View, Add, or Edit your companies info. For more information on this setting please click here.

Duplicates:

View a list of possible duplicate accounts and merge them.

Import:

Import your data into the ServiceMonster System. For more information on this, click here.

Set Up

Picklists:

View or edit your picklists. These are the drop-down menus you use around the site.

Custom Fields:

View, create, and adjust your custom fields. These are fields you can use to collect information on your clients, you can view them in the profile tab on the account page. For more information on this, click here.

SMTP Settings:

SMTP settings allow you to change if emails sent through ServiceMonster go through the ServiceMonster server, or your own email server. For more information on this setting please click here.

Print Settings:

Here you can view your order forms, add in a Billing or Order Disclaimer, and change your Order Print Options. For more information on these settings, click here.

Templates:

Here you can view, create, and edit your Email, Marking, and SMS templates. You can also add in your social media links and create custom data tag links. To learn more about Marketing Templates, click here.

Appt reminders:

Here you can view, edit, and create your appointment reminders. These are texts or emails that are sent to your client automatically either before or after the appointment depending on your preferences.

Lead Sources:

Here you can view, edit, and create Lead Sources. Lead Sources are how your clients learn about your business or why they are coming back to you for more work.

Revenue

Products:

Here you can view, edit, and create your products. For more information on this setting please click here.

Services:

Here you can view, edit, and create your services. For more information on this setting please click here.

Packages:

Here you can view, edit, and create your packages.

Promotions:

Here you can view, edit, and create your promotions.

Tax Rates:

Here you can view, edit, and enter in your tax rates to use on orders. For more information on creating and using Tax Rates, click here.

Management

Employees & Users:

Here you can set up and edit your Employees and Users. You can also create employee accounts on ServiceMonster, assign commissions, and set up appointment reminders for your employees. For a guide to creating new Employees and Users, click here.

Commission Rates:

Here you can create your commission rates if you use them. You can create multiple different options, as well as specify if they are for technicians or sales reps. For more information on setting up commission rates, click here.

Routes:

Here you can view, edit, and create your routes for your schedule. You can also assign techs to routes, and add groups to your routes. For a guide to creating routes, click here.

Inventory:

Only Available On Enterprise

Here you can track your inventory. You can enter in the items you use for your products and services and allow our system to track your usage for you and help you keep track of when it's time to reorder.

Access Log:

See a list of every time someone logged into your ServiceMonster system. You can see the date and time, their Username, and IP Address.

Audit:

View any actions taken on ServiceMonster, which user did it, and when.

API Users:

View your list of API Users, which are outside applications that have access to your ServiceMonster data (Such as Google calendar, or QuickBooks)
