This turns on client side caching, which is just a fancy way of saying that we don't need to contact the server as often. Don't worry though, when you make an update which requires a visual change then the cache is automatically refreshed and new data is pulled in. There is also a short timer that will automatically refresh your cache once that threshold has been reached. Overall, turning this on can greatly help speed up ServiceMonster and make your experience more fluid.
That means this is a feature we are still working on and is opt in. We wanted to get the change out sooner to help those select few users who have noticeable performance issues. If you opt in and notice any issues or bugs please reach out to us about them. You can give us a call toll free at (888) 901-3300 or send an email to email@example.com.
You can turn on the performance boost by clicking on the Question Mark Icon at the top right corner of the page (close to the Quick Add) and selecting "Contact Us" from the drop down menu.
From here, you can toggle the Performance Boost. Click on the black dot to turn it on (The bar will change from white to green), then click close.
That's it! The performance boost is now running and you should notice improved load times throughout the system as you move through. If you ever find that you need to turn something off, just repeat the steps and toggle it back to the off position!
